Gizzi Erskine recommends Fish for Thought
We recently supplied TV presenter, stylist and writer, Gizzi Erskine, with some seafood. This is what she said (we're delighted of course): "Today was a good day. I was sent a package that I feel is safe to say life changing. A superb company called Fish for thought (www.fishforthought.co.uk) have come up with the rather nifty idea of sending spankingly fresh fish straight from the Cornish seas to your front door. Too good to be true I thought, but at midday there was a knock on the door and lo and behold a vast package filled to the brim with the freshest fish I've seen in London!" Check out www.gizzierskine.com and you can see what she did with the seafood.
Fish for Thought Support The Blaggers Banquet
A couple of weeks ago we were asked if we could help with some seafood for the now famous Blaggers Banquet. This event is managed by a group of Bloggers who are all absolutely passionate about food and is in aid of Action Against Hunger. Of course we were delighted to help, and took up some fantastic Newlyn monkfish for a special dish prepared by Charlies comments are below, along with a link to his site where his recipe for Monkfish Tartar can be seen. "I can categorically say that it was the most pristine monk that I have had the pleasure to work with, and all the diners were very happy with the starter and I barely had to do anything to it at all!"
